Dear Miss Coalla, I am writing this letter to you in regards to the experience I had on Thursday, December 14, 2023 when I had a colonoscopy with Doctor Burrows at your facility in Fishkill. I do hope take the time to forward this letter on to the individuals that assisted me that day. Unfortunately, I cannot remember many names but if you look at the schedule log for that day you will find out who assisted me with the process. The young lady at the front desk intake coordinator helped explain every step to me and made me feel comfortable. The young African American lady who walked me in the surgery prep area (I think her name was Johnelle) was so extremely kind and explained the ENTIRE process of what was going to happen because I was a little nervous. She was so patient and made me feel very comfortable. Nurse Marla Mora who prepped me for surgery was knowledgeable, loving and kind. You do not see that type of bedside manner anymore, especially in the hospital setting. I was grateful

Great overall experience from scheduling, staff, nurses, anesthesiologist and Doctor.

It was an easy experience from the nurse that led me into to the room, the nurse who prepped me, was unable to start an IV but, it wasn't her fault, I am a hard stick. The Anesthesiologist was excellent and started the IV. Dr. Walczyk is excellent and the colonoscopy was easy. He came out an spoke to me to assure me everything was okay. It couldn't have gone any better. May took good care of my in recovery, and I was out in no time. Now if they could come up with an easier prep, that would be perfect.

Everyone at the facility was courteous and took the time to answer any questions I had. Colonoscopies are never fun but the staff is aware of this and were very accommodating.
