Paul Burrows, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist at Northern Medical Group Gastroenterology Division, formerly known as The Digestive Disease Center of the Hudson Valley dedicated to the treatment and prevention of diseases and disorders of the digestive tract. At the practice’s locations in Fishkill, Poughkeepsie, and Highland, New York, Dr. Burrows offers his expertise in performing colonoscopies and upper GI endoscopy (EGD) procedures.
Dr. Burrows received his medical degree at the Autonomous University of Guadalajara in Mexico and then completed his residency at Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. He then continued his training in gastroenterology at Faulkner Hospital, affiliated with Tufts University, in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Burrows specializes in treating colon cancer, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), irritable bowel syndrome, diverticulosis, food intolerances, Celiac disease, peptic ulcer disease, diarrhea, and constipation. He is fluent in Spanish as well.
